Dr. (Smt.) Neeta Awasthi
assumed charge of Principal, Maharaja agasen Vidyalaya on 1st July, 2017.
She has been associated with the teaching - learning process for over 28 years. She has had a wonderful academic record. She completed her masters in Chemistry and in Education from Kumaun University, Nainital, Uttarakhand. She has completed her Ph.D in Education, focusing on the 'Treatment Awareness to Adolescent Students at Home and School'.
She has attended multiple National and International conferences and presented her research work. Her three research papers are published in journal with ISSN no.2231- 1475, and are focused on the following topics:
1. Sustainable Value Inculcation among the Adolescent students
2. Treatment awareness of teachers on Adolescents Realities Through Teaching Learning Process
3. Systematic Study on Teacher - Adolescent Relationship Through Academic Panorama

During her long and distinguished career in Maharaja Agrasen Vidyalaya, she has delivered on numerous academic and administrative duties. Under her able guidance, students of the vidyalaya have brought laurels through their excellent performance in various State and National level competitions and world-renowned National and International olympiads, along with the board exams. She is an advocate of the use of technology to positively augment the delivery of education and holds close the values of hard work, regularity, honesty and sincerity. She firmly believes in holistic development of children and aims to provide that platform to students, through her work with the vidyalaya.

She values the culture and the ideologies of the vidyalaya and tries to embody the vidyalaya motto- 'ENTER TO LEARN AND GO OUT TO SERVE'.
